An 8bit journey across reality.

 

Disco Donnie approached me with their idea for a new festival launching in 2018.  The branding for the festival was just a few thoughts from the team:  futuristic, fun, Ubbi Dubbi.  

I was tasked with creating a series of videos that communicated to fans the branding of the brand new festival.  What I landed on was a brief that created the backstory of the two main characters, Ubbi and Dubbid, and their journey across reality to throw the universe's biggest party.

The result is a cohesively branded series of 8bit videos and graphics that is an ongoing story for fans to enjoy.  The Disco Donnie team knocked it out of the park with their first event and along with the branding and video series we developed together, sold out the inaugural event.
