Justin Nizer is an award winning director and producer whose beginnings impeccably coincided with the flashpoint of video popularity online. In the late 2000's while working as a freelance video editor and attending film school in Orange County, CA, he saw an opportunity to combine his twin interests of filmmaking and music in to a meaningful and passionate career.
In 2006 he chose to create his own video production company, Eyewax Films, that would pave the way for how musicians and event producers in electronic dance music communicate with their audiences through videos online. Beginning with his first commissioned works distributed over Myspace, he developed the content and strategies for his clients to effectively move on to Youtube, Facebook, and other new mediums to meet their audience.
While developing Eyewax Films into a successful, full service production company, he was commissioned to direct and produce video content for the largest music festivals in the United States and abroad as well as two Grammy Award winning musicians. Having expanded his interests outside of the world of music, he has begun directing and producing commercials for household brand-names while continuing to pursue filmmaking in the world of music.
